Typical, regional culinary delights, genuine hospitality and a fine sense for tradition: these are the characteristic features that the Hotel- and Restaurant keepers Association would like to promote with the „Südtiroler Gasthaus“ initiative. 25 traditional restaurants and inns all around South Tyrol thus contribute to the preservation and spreading of a historically developed inn culture including respect for old buildings and increased use of local agricultural products. Because we have to preserve what is good.

The ”Südtiroler Gasthaus” recently looked back on a successful first year. Set up in 2012 by HGV (Hotel- and Restaurant Keepers Association) to nurture and foster South Tyrol hostelries, 25 traditional South Tyrol inns and restaurants have now joined the group.

The inns of the “Südtiroler Gasthaus” group collaborate with the Export Organisation South Tyrol - EOS.
